Welcome to Budapest, Hungary. We have collected some important information regarding the conference:

Money Exchange Booths and Kiosk with public transportation tickets (BKV) are located on ground floor
Conference Center, Play House (Kingdom Kids) and Food Court are located on 1st floor
- Nametag, please, have it always on you, as without it you won’t be able to enter the conference facility.
- schedule, map and guide are included in your welcome pack
- Kids Kingdom will be provided during Saturday and Sunday classes. Please provide a snack and a drink for your child.
Also make sure you have a disciple serving in the Kids’ Kingdom who speaks the language of your child.
- Lost and found items will be collected next to the Registration table
- book table – payments will be accepted in cash only, HUF (Hungarian forints), EUR (euro), USD (American dollars), if change is needed it will be given in HUF only
- Christmas gifts for sale – money collected will go to HOPE Worldwide
- Translation equipment (Hungarian and Russian ) will be distributed before each session and collected after each session; you must not leave the conference area with the headset
- No food, no drinks (except for water) are allowed in conference rooms

Transportation from the airport to the hotels
We advise to go to the Taxi Stand in front of the terminals and take the airport taxi called Fő taxi (Main taxi). It costs about 51010-5300 HUF (about 21-22 euro) to get from the airport to the hotelswww.budapestairport.hu/english/passengers/access_and_parking/by_taxi. When you look at the map on the website of the taxi http://www.fotaxi.eu/?lang=en
Hotels: Achat, Tulip Inn, Thomas, Budapest Budget, Rila are located in 2nd district, Flamenco is located in district 3. it is not 2nd or 3rd district of Budapest, but a code set by the taxi company. The ride takes about 20-30 min.
You can pay for the taxi with credit card, but you need to tell the operator at the booth when you order the taxi (it is easy to find, located in front of the terminals). All you need to say is the type of the card you will want to pay with, since not all of the cars are equipped for credit cards. If you request to pay with the card, they will send you a car which has the ability to accept credit cards.

From each terminal (1, 2A and 2B) there is a bus 200E going to the end stop of metro line no. 3. You need to buy a ticket for that bus at the airport, if you have coins from the machine, or from the bus driver. It costs 400 HUF. When you reach the final destination, Kőbánya-Kispest, you need to take metro no.3 (blue line) and if f you go to
- Achat and Tulip Inn or directly to the Lurdy Ház Conference Center - to station: Népliget.
- Thomas Hotel or Budapest Budget hostel you need to get off at Corvin-Negyed (old name: Ferenc körút),
- Rila you need to get off at: Nagyvárad tér
For your convenience please check the websites of the hotels, there are simple directions how to exactly get there.
If you plan to use public transportation this weekend it is best to buy a 72 hour ticket (or weekly ticket if you plan to stay longer) at Kőbánya-Kispest metro stop for your convenience. The 72 hour ticket costs 3850 HUF, the weekly ticket costs 4600 HUF.
Transportation from the main train stations to the Conference Center:

- Nyugati Pályaudvar – take metro line no.3 (direction Kőbanya-Kispest) to stop Népliget and from there take tram no.1 (direction: Lágymányosi Híd and get off at Mester utca
- Keleti Pályudvar – take tram no. 24 (direction Vágóhíd) to stop at Mester utca, change to tram np. 51 or 51A (direction: Nagysándor József utca) go 2 stops at get off Könyves Kálmán körüt stop
- Deli Pályaudvar – take metro no. 2 (direction: Órs vezér tere), get off at Puskás Ferenc Stadion, then take tram no. 1 (direction: Lágymányosi Híd and get off at Mester utca.
Heath Insurance – Travel insurance
Please make sure you have valid health insurance and travel insurance, since we cannot take financial responsibility for any of your possible accidents.
Local Currency
In Hungary we use Hungarian Forints, not the Euro, although there are some places where Euro is accepted. So, if you prefer to pay with cash, you need to exchange your money at the airport. They do not have good rates, so we advise you to exchange only as much as needed to get to the hotel or conference center. The exchange rate is about 300 forints per 1 euro or 225 forints per $1 USD.
Luggage storage
If you come directly from the airport or train station you will be able to store your luggage in the main room, in designated area.
